MS Research Charity :
Multiple Sclerosis Research Training and Education-(working title MS Research)- is a new Bristol based UK charity dedicated to helping people with MS through its research and specialist treatment activities. This organisation will strive to establish integrated MS research and treatment centre involving those who have MS (PwMS), those who treat it and those who research the condition to promote high quality research and to ensure the translation of research findings into practical help for those with MS by establishing local research facilities and maximising the use of local experience and expertise in the West of England.

The Charity's key aims are:
- To support research and specialist treatments that will overcome the disabling and debilitating problems associated with MS.
- To seek research and other opportunities that will bring us nearer to a cure.
- To contribute to excellence in health and social care delivery through professional training programmes.
- To directly assist those affected by MS to manage the symptoms and maximize ability and capability through programmes of treatment and education.
- To work collaboratively with organisations with likeminded aims (MS charities, private and public healthcare sectors, funding bodies, and educational agencies) to contribute to improving the quality of life for people who have MS and those who share their lives.
- To support the research initiatives currently being pursued in Bristol and the West country and to assist the development in Bristol of a centre of excellence for MS disease oriented research and MS treatment related research.
