In February we were invited to a presentation evening of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, organised by Mr Andy Williams who has MS, and the Bristol Province Grand Lodge Social Committee. We were kept in the dark about how much had been raised through various events such as an auction, sponsored walk, skittles, a car boot sale but it was worth the wait, Andy and the Buffaloes presented our Chairman, Bill Tacey, Shaun McCarthy and a teary-eyed Dr Rosie Jones with a cheque for £4,100! A special thanks also to Mr & Mrs Sheridan of the Raymend Hotel who have helped raise over £3,000 for the buffaloes over the past few years and to Robert Coyne of Black Tie Portraits.
