- Principles to Promote the Quality of Life of People with Multiple Sclerosis Atlas of MS: information and data on the epidemiology of MS and the availability and accessibility of resources to diagnose, inform, treat, support, manage and rehabilitate people with MS worldwide.
- MS Glossary: MSIF has also added a Glossary to the World of MS website. All key terms referred to within the World of MS (WoMS) web pages are included and may be referred to whilst browsing the website.
- The Guide to Treatment and Management The most comprehensive reference book on the treatment and management of multiple sclerosis is now on the Internet. From today Multiple Sclerosis: The Guide to Treatment and Management can be seen on the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) web site 'The World of MS'. This is the fifth edition of the highly respected guide, formerly titled Therapeutic Claims in MS. It is a unique compendium and evaluation of the most frequently used treatments for the management of multiple sclerosis, providing an authoritative reference for health professionals and patients alike.
- History of MS: The history of multiple sclerosis (MS) is a detective story spanning more than a century. Many clues have been pieced together, but only now are answers emerging. Read this new section and learn understand where MS Research is today.
- Relationships, Intimacy and Sexuality in Multiple Sclerosis (RISMS) on the World of MS Web site (WOMS). This new section has been developed by health professionals. It is dedicated to enhancing relationships influenced by MS and to helping those affected by MS to cope with issues relating to sexuality and intimacy, and dynamically within relationships, with family and society. The pages within RISMS offer both medical and therapeutic information to people affected by MS. The material aims to help people make informed decisions about managing the problems that can occur with relationships, intimacy and sexuality. However, because of the nature of these problems much of the material is necessarily of an adult nature.
- Scientific and Medical Literature on MS Database: The Scientific and Medical Literature on MS database includes all the latest research findings on MS. Entries are selected by a team based at the Institute of Neurology, London, who scan all the scientific and medical literature on a weekly basis. Each item is categorised to assist readers in identifying relevant information.
- WORLD OF MS (WOMS) Multiple Sclerosis International Federation Societies: it lists the major websites in several languages and the addresses of all the world societies. You can get a regular update by email.
- WOMS publications: a searchable database containing 349 publications from 31 countries in 20 different languages. There is a lot available on line!
- MS by topic: You can expect to find information on treatments, symptom management, and news as well as tips and coping strategies from the readership.
- Clinical Trials Resource Centre: provides you with background information about the clinical trials process, lists U.S. and international clinical trials actively recruiting patients for multiple sclerosis and allows you to see the most recent trial results and news.
