Impact of Tremor on Ability to Work:
This is a pie-chart showing the impact of tremor on people's daily lives. Our survey revealed that the majority of those with MS who had tremor needed to give up their employment and stop or change their leisure activities (about three quarters, 78%); 3% adapted to their condition; 12% were not affected; 7% said it was not applicable. Day time activities were generally quite limited in the small group with severe tremor (e.g watching TV listening to radio, reading etc). Holding books and managing remote controls caused some difficulties.
